Due to COVID-19, the yearly events we're used to see our boy attending are taking an unexpected turn by being cancelled for the first time ever/in years or being dematerialised and done through videoconferences. This is what will occur on Monday, August 31 at 7 pm for the Radical Readings event of the Working Class Movement Library - which is temporarily closed.
This year, the event is renamed Radical Sounds and will be composed of a mixture of music and readings curated by the one and only Maxine Peake. The event will feature music from the Eccentronic Research Council featuring Maxine Peake, the International Teachers of Pop, Goat Girls, All Girls Arson Club, Lone Taxidermist, Keeley Forsyth and Ross Downes and readings from Christopher Eccleston, Nico Mirallegro, Kris Hitchen, Carla Henry, Natasha Cottriall, Lias Saoudi and Maxine Peake herself.
Everyone is invited to watch this event on the WCML Facebook page and on their official website.
