The official BBC account for Doctor Who just dropped the news: Chris is reprising his part as the Ninth Doctor fiften years after his departure from the show. We won't see him playing alongside Jodie Whittaker (yet?) but he was convinced by the fans who met him during Gallifrey One and by Nicholas Briggs (known for voicing Daleks, Cybermen, Judoons, Zygons in the show; and the Ninth Doctor himself in Big Finish's audioooks) to come back for new adventures in time and space in a collection of new audiobooks to be released next year. You can now preorder the CDs or vinyles of these unbelievable adventures narrated by the one and only Ninth Doctor himself.
